Broken Arm?
This is our third year in Kandern, Germany. Previously, Nate has coached (and Katy has cooked for) college track and field teams for a long time because we like working with students. We’ve loved and cared for sibling groups in foster care, led homeschool coops, tried our hand at homesteading and summited a few mountains. Our kids are Nya (16, art, volleyball, track, violin), Judah (14, books, trumpet, adventures), and Zeke (9, legos, imagination, outdoors). We enjoy hiking in the woods whilst imagining we’re in Middle Earth, celebrating anything with a trip to the Eis Cafe (ice cream shop), playing lengthy games of Catan that end in pandemonium, and laughing at stories around the dinner table. Our family values truth, transparency, and fun. We especially like having lots of people in the house and the joys and challenges of being dorm parents to 20 high school girls.
